OPHA SPONSORED FUNDRAISERS:

OPHA is kicking off several fundraising events for this year and we need your support! Remember its never to late to get involved! 

In addition to hosting several new events this year such as summer fest, a witches ball and Yule fest, we are also putting a new focus on OPHA's Pagan Pride Days. We are planning on having an award winning children's author as a key note speaker. She will be giving seminars on raising a pagan family among other things. There will be a family friendly open circle ritual Saturday night and tons of activities, seminars, drumming, belly dancing, vendors and delicious food all day long as well. We want to make PPD an event that the family can spend the entire day at and not even notice where the time went! 

Of course these things take money and volunteers to help make them successful, so get involved today!

INFO: OPHA Silent Auctions. We would like to start collecting now for our upcoming silent auctions. This is a great way to showcase your talent or business by donating an example of your wares!  If you have a talent or a skill and would like to donate your services that would be awesome as well!  And the silent auctions aren’t just for vendors, anyone who has something of value that could be sold in the auction will be greatly appreciated!! 


PRICE: Most events are absolutely free to attend. Some exceptions include OPHAs Desert and Divination event. See the Events  page for details!
     
     
 
WHAT: OPHA Gently Used Books Fundraising Drive

INFO:

OPHA Used Book Drive. Do you have gently used books of a pagan/heathen or of a supernatural nature just collecting dust in your bookshelf??  How about those paranormal romance/adventure books?  We want to take those off your hands and put them to good use in expanding OPHA’s book section at our Faires!!

To donate either bring any used books you would like to donate to any OPHA event (see the Events page for details) or please contact the VP of Fundraising and we can pick the books up from your home or place of business! Please email us at fundraising and we greatly appreciate your generosity in supporting OPHA!

TAX DEDUCTABLE? Currently OPHA is pursuing its 501c3 status and plans to have that status by the middle of this year (2010) so yes, donations will be completely tax deductable!
     
     
 
WHAT: OPHA Garage Sale

OPHA Garage Sale. We are planning a series of garage sale events through the spring and summer. Currently we are asking for donated items that we can sell. These items can be anything from nic-nacs, clothing, even furniture! We ask that all items be clean, functional, and gently used.

WHAT: OPHA Sponsorship Programs

If you are a business owner or own a side business venture that you would like to have advertised, we do advertising for our sponsors in our event advertising and event fliers as well as on OPHA T-Shirts and our web site. Our Gold sponsors get extra perks as well, so if you’re interested in this please don’t hesitate to contact us for details!

WHAT: OPHA Volunteers!!

INFO: Volunteers! If you have nothing more to donate than your time, we need that as well! We have a fundraising committee that needs members as well as general volunteers to help run the events. OPHA is very much a member driven organization and you are highly encouraged to get involved, speak your minds, make suggestions, and put forth new ideas.  Yes indeed, we need YOU!! Volunteers also enjoy perks such as Event T-shirts!

VOTING STATUS:

Dont forget that OPHA members must pledge and fullfill 5 hours of volunteer time per year to have a voting status during the OPHA board meetings. This allows you to help shape OPHA to the organization you want it to be!
